24 lb. Writing Paper is standard weight paper for Fine Stationery Envelopes, Note Card A-size Envelopes and Booklet Envelopes. 70lb. Text and 80lb. Text are heavier then 24lb. Writing, 80lb. Text being heavier than 70lb. Text. All envelopes listed on this page are made from 70lb. Text paper with regular gum, adhesive seal closures (the gum must be moistened to seal the envelope). All Dolphin Blue's envelope papers offered are 100% post consumer recycled, containing NO virgin wood pulp fiber and printed with soy ink.

Vellum finished paper has a slightly-textured surface.

* Post-consumer recycled fiber is derived from paper that is recovered from the waste stream. That paper was used for its intended purpose and then placed in a bin for recycling. Through successful collection and processing, fiber from the recycled paper has been given a second life.
The higher the post consumer recycled fiber content used in making Invitation & Announcement Envelopes, the more environmentally responsible that paper is. Paper with 100% post-consumer recycled fiber is paper that uses no virgin wood pulp. In essence, free of tree pulp.
