Digital Papers, or Laser Printer Papers (for Black & White printing on Digital Copiers and Laser Printers):
Paper for use as a Laser Paper and Digital Copier Paper is generally at least 24 lb. weight. It is made to be used primarily, and preferably, on a Black & White Laser Printer or Digital Copier. Some Laser Papers and Digital Copier Papers may also be labeled as 60 lb. Text, which is an equal weight to 24 lb. paper. Copier Paper is ideally 20 lb. weight, sometimes labeled as 50 lb. Text or Offset.

Color Laser/Color Copier Papers (for making Color and Multi-Color images on Color Laser Printers and Color Copiers)
The papers listed in this section are minimum 30% post consumer recycled. The Mohawk papers are CERTIFIED by the Forest Stewardship Council, as being the first FSC-certified paper available that contains 100% post consumer recycled waste paper fibers. There has been no tree pulp or fiber used in the making of the Mohawk papers -- only 100% waste paper. They are not flecked, no visible fibers appear on these papers. They are high-brightness, exceptionally-white papers. These papers are recommended for use on Color Laser Printers and Color Copiers. Dolphin Blue acknowledges Mohawk Paper Mills for being the only paper mill that operates utilizing wind energy to supplement its sources of power.

Post consumer fiber is recovered fiber that has been successfully used by a consumer for its intended purpose, has been successfully recovered through a waste collection or recycling program, and is once again being utilized as material used in making a new product, such as Recycled Writing Pads.
Writing Pads made from Post-Consumer Recycled Paper
All Post Consumer Recycled Writing Pads listed on this page contain minimum 35% post-consumer recycled fiber. Post-consumer recycled fiber is derived from paper that is recovered from the waste stream. That means the paper has been used by a consumer for its intended purpose and has been placed in a bin for recycling. Through successful collection and processing this fiber has been given a second life as it has been made into paper used in the manufacturing of File Folders once again.
Many Recycled Writing Pads contain 10% post consumer recycled fibers. That means 10% of the fibers used to make the papers are recovered and 90% of the fibers are derived from virgin wood pulp, which comes from trees. Dolphin Blue’s most environmentally responsible SkilCraft Recycled Writing Pads are made from 100% post consumer recycled waste papers using minimal no virgin pulp or forest resources.*
